The findings come from a study of around 1,000 people in New Zealand.

An international team found those who started using cannabis below the age of 18 – while their brains were still developing – suffered a drop in IQ.

About 80%of business in Nigeria paid bribe - World Bank


The World Bank has said about 80 per cent of businesses in the country paid bribes to government officials on request to remain in business. The bank stated this in its 2011 report on investment climate  in Nigeria, released on Monday.

Claressa Shields (The local hero) wins first U.S. women’s boxing gold in Olympic history

Throughout the Olympics' first women's boxing tournament, U.S. middleweight Claressa Shields would refer to the ultimate prize as "my gold medal."
After Thursday, she can proudly claim that it is.
Shields, 17, defeated Nadezda Torlopova of Russia on Thursday night, 19-12, to claim the gold medal in the middleweight division, in the Olympic event's inaugural year. She's the second-youngest fighter to win gold in either men's or women's boxing.
