Youth Leaders Advise Nigeria Youth on the way forward as we mark the International Youth Day 2012, Hear what they said...

Bukky
My advice to the youth will be that they should take hold of their life and make a difference. There are young people today doing great stuff, yet there are countless would-be great men and women in the grave simply because they fail to properly harness their skills, talent, and energy when they were still young.
The dash between when we were born and when we will leave this earth is what will determine the quality of the lives young people live, not necessarily the longevity. So, make hay while the sun is still shining. Time waits for no one. The world awaits the manifestation of young people! - Bukky Shonibare, CE/Lead Consultant, 555 Consulting Limited.

Francis
In line with this year's UN Int'l Youth Day. I strongly believe that as much as young people seek to be engaged as strong development partners. We must consciously work towards earning this through our individual and collective efforts. To the older generation, there is no better investment than investing in a sincere and mutually beneficial partnership with the future generation. - Francis Anyaegbu, Executive Director Youth Pioneer for Development Organization

As we celebrate the 2012 International Youth Day our youth endeavour to learn new skills, trades and practical professions and put them to use innovatively. Creativity is what powers many of the new industries of our day, it allows us to accelerate innovation and solve problems faster, our youth must be creative enough in solving problems and create opportunities for them self and other millions of Nigeria out there. We also need to make Nigeria welcoming to all enterprising, energetic, and ambitious young people who are ready to solve problem with their hands, and create a living within all the sectors by making it work with commitment and support of our government - Ayodele Fanida, ImpactHouse Int.

International Youth was setup in encouraging young people to actions for: their peers, local community, sharing views and presenting to authorities ideas of solving young people's challenges and how young people could be part of global issues.I really appreciate the development of young people across the world....young people are very sensitive instrument toward any local, regional, national and international growth - Oguntoyinbo Steven, CEO Talk Village Int

Realign and rededicated themselves to the growth and devt of Nigeria through effective youth alternatives. Must learn from the experiences and not repeat the mistakes of older generations.- Egghead Odewale.

Damilola
The future of this Nation depends on the sacrifice we are ready to make. Whether we succeed or otherwise, its the result of what we put in. Let's take our future seriously. Happy IYD. - Damilola Apotieri, CEO MADI

Rotimi
Rotimi Olawale Coordinator of Youth Forum Nigeria, question the Impact of IYD in Nigeria; he said "How far has Nigeria gone/what strides have we made since the last International Youth Day". He went further by to discuss youth developments in Nigeria so far, progress and recommendations @rotexonline.

Finally I ask the Question How would you climb without a staircase? Everyone looks forward to height but know one likes the climbing perhaps because of the demand in climbing, Just like everyone wants to go to heaven, but know one is ready to die. Nigeria Youth should take a break from complaining and do something on their own to help their country move forward
Happy Youth Day to Nigeria Youth home and abroad.
